ASA has confirmed that MV Express was awarded the Gold berth in Region 9. Earlier, the ASA Commissioner advised SPY that MI Finesse was awarded the berth in Region 8. ASA had 58 berths on record pending the outcomes this weekend.

Beach Girls defeated the TC Tremors 4-2 in the finals and have qualified for the GOLD Nationals.

NICKY NEMITZ (U OF MICHIGAN sophomore) WAS THE WINNING PITCHER , GAVE UP 2 EARNED RUNS; HIT A SOLO HOME RUN AND DROVE IN TWO MORE WITH A SINGLE UP THE MIDDLE . THIS MARKS THE 7TH TRIP TO GOLD NATIONALS FOR THE BEACH GIRLS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS

We are told the Region 15 tournament was moved to Yakima, about 3-4 hours away, due to severe weather conditions in the Seattle area. Play was scheduled to resume at 6pm PT.
